The integration process with the inherent experience of "Pure-I", our true identity, the gate back into Divinity is the highest challenge. How to transform our existential experience from addiction to perception of objects in the outer which defines our Ego-I, into harmonious abidance within our true identity as Divine spark.
The process of awakening involves not only awakening but also the integration with that which we were
awakened to.
Awakening can be viewed as "seeing" the promised land, While integration and shift of identity can be viewed as "entering it". Awakening into various layers of ones' consciousness can be transmitted by a presence of an evolved soul, or sometimes by individual effort. Integration is a process which involves bringing out the highest capacity of our intelligence to constantly chose to provide us with the right point of identification, not allowing us to fall back into the past. This until the process is completed and our identity is rooted in the realm of reality. A state where the duality of perception and perceived is transformed into oneness and unity with the creator.

 The difficulties faced in this process are rooted in the gravity force that the dimension of earth has on our consciousness. The very fact that we have in the history of our consciousness lifetimes of identification with it. Seeing it as the only reality we know. It is an enormous transformation to cultivate a different point of reference upon these lifetimes of living on earth. It is to reprogram ourselves to a completely new version of human consciousness, or more correct to say would be, to allow the currently running program to dissolve and stop defining our pseudo reality.
> How could one generate the enormous self-conviction needed in order to withdraw our attention constantly into the subjective reality of the Pure I. How could we abide in the unknown, free from any objects, dwelling in trust and prayer for the deeper layers of our existence to open up and take us in. Transforming our abidance. from addiction to objects into a constant dwelling with the realm of the Self. The infinite Now.

The answer to these questions can be found in understanding the energy force which drives us into birth and maturation on this earth. As the soul of a new born infant is carrying within it a life force which will allow it to enter this physical vehicle for the sake of participating in this life. This energy is directed towards earth and creates certain gravity force between the consciousness of this being and the energy of this earth. The more issues one has on this earth to resolve and go through, the hardest it is to transform the relations between one's consciousness and the addiction to outer objects presented in the mind. This gravity force will not allow deeper transformation into the inner to disturb the process of maturation that this being has to go through on earth.
This is why it is said that certain level of maturation and balanced psychology is needed before one can truly enter seriously the spiritual path. As the gravity force of the unsolved matters will withdraw the energy of one's attention in a way which won't allow a significant transformation.
Once one reaches this balanced relations with the outer issues we can start seeing the potential of reaching the point where the intelligence of the being can start generate a new point of reference within the consciousness of the human. It allows its' energies to relax into the inner, and more of the presence of the being is withdrawn into the inner. Giving birth to an experience of standing in between the inner and the outer. A reference point which begins to feel as a choice that one can make whether to be withdrawn to the outer, or to remain within the existential subjective experience of oneself.
Using the example of the light torch again, we can say that at this point the intelligence can chose whether to radiate the attention outwardly, or to withdraw the beam of attention and presence inwardly and just remain contained within it.

The effort of cultivation is needed as long as the energies within our consciousness still have the tendency to drop out and be involved in a defining way within the outer. "Defining" way, means that our involvement in the outer, whether consciously or unconsciously, create again a new sense of "I". We can call it an "Ego-I" versus the "Existential I".
"I" which is created through perception of ourselves, versus the neutral purely subjective "existential I".
The shift into an integrated state of any sort is usually gradual and involves great sensitivity to the actual position of the experiencer towards any other perceived phenomena outside of it. It is a process where the student is required to bring all his or her self conviction and trust that the pure rest and harmony rests within abiding in the non-doing self, and not in involvement with the ongoing recreation of the Ego-I.
It is an enormous achievement to be able to "jump out of the loop" of the redefining Ego-I. It is like being born again to a new perception of your life and the reasons behind it, as well as to seeing the entire mechanism of this dimension in a clear and independent perception.

Withdrawing our attention and bringing it again and again to point zero of perception allows us to begin the journey inwardly within the "peer of consciousness". As this consciousness learns to relax into itself it gives place and energetic space for an opening towards its' source to take place. Therefore the process of integration should not be seen as a one time effort. There is always the next stage of evolution to integrate with. To surrender to. The deeper one enters the peer of consciousness one enters extremely delicate inner states which are very different than the relatively primitive first openings of consciousness into itself. One can imagine it as a continuous process of merging between the frequency of existence as a human, which primarily is vibrating in a primitive frequency of earth, with the frequency of the source which is slowly revealed and allows the human identity to elevate its' existential frequency higher towards the frequency of the source of it. Therefore, our process is always based on a "meeting", "recognition", and later, an ongoing process of merging with the recognized till a unity is achieved with the state, where no longer one abides outside of it as an experiencer, but one merges into a state of unity of this layer of evolution.
